Module 05 — PCB RoutingPower routing, signal routing, ground strategy, differential pairs, high-speed awareness and practical constraints.
Module 06 — 2-Layer & Multilayer DesignLayer planning, stack-up concepts, return paths and design considerations for 2–8 layer boards.
Module 07 — DRC / ERC & Design ReviewElectrical checks, clearance errors, unconnected nets, rule configuration and systematic review.
Module 08 — Manufacturing OutputsGerber, NC Drill, BOM, pick-and-place/CPL, fabrication notes and handoff to a manufacturer.
Module 09 — Practical ProjectApply the workflow to a complete board-design exercise with guided review and corrections.
Module 10 — Professional WorkflowDesign organization, revision control habits, documentation, review checklists and client-ready deliverables.
KiCad + Altium Designer
The curriculum teaches engineering principles first, then demonstrates how those principles are implemented in professional EDA tools.
